Farmyard Heroes Colouring Book
by Tanya Saunders; with illustrations by Faith Broomfield-Payne
Not your everyday colouring book! Designed for fun, creativity AND communication connection - with integrated speech and language practice and handy conversation prompts.
Encourage your child to colour independently while you grab a cup of coffee, or use the integrated activity ideas and conversation prompts for some spontaneous speech and language practice with your little one...
Connecting over a shared activity is so much fun that it will just feel like playtime - your child won't even notice that they are honing their communication skills and practicing strategies learned in speech therapy (and because they won't feel under pressure to perform perfectly, they'll absorb so much more - when learning is fun, learning sticks!).
Based on our popular storybooks, "C.I. Quest" and "Icky Sticky Stuck!", this Farmyard Heroes colouring book features the friendly farmer (who is deaf and uses cochlear implants to help him to hear) and his unforgettable farmyard crew...from the cow who's best friends with the dog, to the chicks and the cat (which rhymes with "rat"!).
This is an inclusive resource, featuring a main character who is deaf, but it is not specifically about hearing loss – as such, it is a fun, engaging colouring book for any child. The young farmer in the book has hearing loss but, most importantly, he is just like any other child, having fun on the farm with his animal friends.
This colouring book is based on these two FARMYARD HEROES stories
